Suzy Smith

Suzy Smith is a Wyoming native, who currently resides in New Mexico, after living in California for many years. She has exhibited her work around the country, and her paintings are included in many private and public collections which include: the Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream Corporate Art Collection, and the Kaiser Foundation Art Collection. Smith paints in watercolor and oil, painting figurative work as well as still life, and florals. She is a signature member of the National Watercolor Society.

Smith's style is contemporary realism, and has a clean crisp look to it. She is very much influenced by American culture, and having grown up in the 60's and 70's. Her current work focuses on the figure, specifically the nude, including a "famous" painting in the background, as a way of paying homage to some of her favorite artist's throughout history.
